Software Solutions Sales Executive

Are you a consultative software sales professional who knows how to open doors, build trust, and close deals? Our client a leading document solutions business is expanding its digital portfolio and is looking for a driven Software Solutions Sales Executive to spearhead new business growth across document management, workflow automation, and eSignature platforms.
If you have a proven SaaS sales track record and the ability to engage confidently at C-level, this is a role worth exploring.

 

About the Role

This is a new business-focused role with a clear remit: grow revenue by selling best-in-class software solutions into SME and corporate markets. You will own the full sales cycle and work closely with technical and implementation teams to ensure every customer gets off to the right start. There is also meaningful opportunity to cross-sell into an established base of managed print clients.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across SME and corporate markets
  • Own the full sales cycle, prospecting, qualifying, presenting, quoting, negotiating, and closing
  • Sell SaaS subscriptions as well as on-premise and hybrid software solutions
  • Engage decision-makers at C-level, IT, Finance, Operations, and Legal
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using CRM, with consistent reporting against monthly and quarterly targets
  • Work closely with technical and implementation teams to ensure seamless project handovers
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities within the existing managed print client base
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitor offerings to position solutions compellingly

What We're Looking For

Essential:
  • 3–5+ years of proven B2B sales experience, with a strong focus on SaaS or subscription-based software
  • Experience selling Document Management Systems, Workflow Automation, eSignature, or Print Management software
  • Track record of selling into enterprise or mid-market clients
  • Confident engaging at executive and IT management level
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
  • Hands-on experience with Square 9, DocuSign, PaperCut, or ControlSuite
  • Background in Managed Print Services (MPS)
  • Experience selling into finance, legal, healthcare, or corporate sectors
