Southern Suburbs, Cape TownWe are seeking for an ambitious and self-driven Software Engineer to join the Technology team. The role will be focused on the maintaining the investment platform and digital transformation of the new business initiatives. As part of the team, you will work closely with colleagues to plan, develop, and deliver technology solutions that is secure and cost effective for the business.
Responsibilities
- Developing frontend solutions using the latest frontend technologies such as Vue, Angular, or React
- Building software solutions with a pragmatic approach and writing defensive and well-tested code.
- Expertise in reading, understanding, and reviewing other developer’s code.
- Collaborating with product managers, business users, and other engineers to solve open-ended problems.
- Making recommendations and driving initiatives to improve processes and enhance performance.
requirements:
- Strong track record in JavaScript, Typescript, and the latest frontend technologies
- In depth knowledge of the Software Development Lifecyle and Scrum methodology
- Hands on experience in building enterprise web applications
- Experience working in financial domain
